Planning Granted for Arts and Crafts Extension

We’re delighted to be starting the year with a number of new projects working on Listed Buildings or in Conservation Areas.

One of our favourites is the extension and alteration of this stunning Arts and Crafts House. The existing layout suffered from an awkward flow through the house, limited connection to the garden, and toilets in all the wrong places. Through a number of considered design moves the transformation of the property will be radical. The existing kitchen suffers from a lack of light and a limited outward connection to the garden is relocated to the new extension with a family snug and dining space taking its place. A new entrance space, utility, bootroom and toilet meet the practical needs of a modern family home which allows the front entrance hall to be reclaimed as a more formal entrance.

We look forward to seeing this project starting on site in the summer.
